I harvested tomatoes from my garden and needed to use them up so I looked up a pasta recipe. I want to know who thought of putting onion and tomatoes together because you can make so many dishes off this base combination that it puts me at awe. Potatos I appreciate you but I do think of you as a winter comfort, tomato and onions are a very festive and robust flavor profile to me. I use it as my chicken soup, in a lot of mexican dishes and now tomato sauce! Like WOW

So after being in the genshin fandom for a while now, I am noticing familiar names and have been working along these people to do fan events and things of that nature. I remeber the first one I followed their username is Pixi, anyways I saw they entered art for a Kaeluc zine so I went to buy it, the cover art is also done by someone I see and admire the work of, and that is Ivory. It is just very neat to have something in my hands and be able to know to some degree the people who helped create it.

Speaking of group projects, the zine I entered with two other friends is finally done it is VERY NSFW so be warned, but I was team 31, and I will post the art here at some point when I have time to blur the image

I have not written in a while but whenever I have a question about a skill I am very fortunate enough at least where I live that someone somewhere will know this skill, I live in a rural area granted so things like sewing, canning, growing food is kinda the norm here. Even so there is art classes as well, I live in a good balance of it all and I am very grateful for it. OH WE ALSO HAVE PEACHES, well "we" as in our neighbors have a peach tree and some of it is growing on our side and dropping their fruit. I ate one and it was good, the tree did well this year and I hope a seed will have made it's home in our yard too, we will see

I went to the state fair because I had submitted artwork and wanted to take a look at it. What I did not expect was getting literally any kind of ribbon!!!! It is very cool to see and it makes me want to do it again. Well to be specific it makes me want to do more entries in different styles maybe. I want to enter in a digital, watercolor, and maybe a oil piece (maybe) This was fun!

Going on a trip here soon, excited to see my family and my friends I no longer see when I moved away. I don't expect to do anything grand, just hanging out with them will be enough

It has been a minute, but I think that is a good thing I have been very busy with real life things!

I did a type of oil class very very old women who were very happy to encourage my endeavor, there is another oil class at a different town with a different vibe, I will have to find the time to try it out. I am sure both will help me in some way. Watercolor is still my beloved, but oil painting does intrigue me.

Some friends and I are in the middle of a no buy/little no buy month. I don't spend a lot to begin with but I am putting more thought in my purchases which has saved me a little here and there for other things I want more.

Working on my zine art pieces. I think ..i like it lolol. My problem though is I never remeber what in the world I do for each painting XD. Ill figure it out.

Had quiet an eventful few days. My partners birthday is today; and a few eeks ago I asked a friend to make a cactuar cake that was snickerdoodle flavor. When I went to pick it up on 08/05/25 they gave me eggs from their backyard chickens, as well as cucumbers. I have not tried the cucumbers but I am excited to see how they compare to the ones at the grocery store. The cake was also delicious, what little I had of it XD. Yesterday I did my normal stroll around town and while talking to the librarian I became overly excited that I asked them to go to the farmers market with me. They agreed so now I have this 60 year woman that I am going to go hang out. I also finally got through the art center phone maze and signed up for their oil painting class. I cannot remeber the day but I went to visit a watercolor studio and purchased a locally made cake of paint in a bottle cap. 08/07/2025

Had a nice conversation at the bookstore, the frequency of me showing up is starting to bear fruit. Store clerk now knows me for genshin and just starts to talk to me umprompted beyong the "welcome in how are you" Also bookclub memebers are remebering me and are also talking to me beyong the obligation of book club. One asked me for my discord! It is also how I found out there is a watercolor studio thing that just opened up. Slow but steady progress. Do i call them friends no, but the world seems a little more familiar. 7/31/25

Sometimes I think I study too much and just don't enjoy the process of making stuff for fun. Then I read/listen/ find something and I pick up the pencil and start sketching lol. 7/27/25

All my friends gifts arrived and they seemed to love it, also have been very busy creatively which is good in it's own way. My tomatoes are also coming in nicely. 7/20/25

When I clean I make it a party, I put on music and suddently a chore becomes a good time, it has become my favorite part of the weekend 7/13/25

I ordered flowers and they were beautiful, I also have been interacting with more online people which, I am not sure how to describe except that it makes me happy again the internet exists. Like knowing what they like, what they listen too, things outside what is recommended to me on algorithms. I do also talk to people in real life and it makes me happy watching those relationship grow with each interaction. 7/10/25

Went on a swift dive into othe people's websites and, each one is slightly different which is amazing. I also feel I share a similar desire to simply share everything I like into a singular area. The social media link I have are mostly drawings and art but I have vastly different ideas that I want to yap about as well. This website at least hopefully will be a place I can do that. 7/7/25

Went to the garden and had I had a nice conversation with a fellow gardener. Also the robin in my backyard did not fly away when I went outside, we kept our distance but it was nice, I felt trusted. 7/6/25
